1.Orange juice- 1 ½ cup
Sugar – 1 tbsp (depending on the sweetness of orange juice)
2.Orange one small
Sugar – 1 ½ tbsp.
3.Milk – 1 ½ cup
Cornflower – 1 ½ tbsp.
Custard powder – 1 ½ tbsp.
Vanilla essence – 1 ½ tbsp.
Sugar – ½ tbsp
Egg – 2
Preparation.
1.Allow orange juice to boil with sugar and keep this aside.
2.Caramelise orange with sugar and arrange this in the serving dish.
3.Combine cornflower and custard powder with ¼ cup of cold milk
4.Boil and cool this milk. Beat egg with sugar. Then add vanilla essence and pour milk slowly and beat well combine the prepared cold milk with this.
5.Mix this with the prepared orange juice mixture.
6.Take a deep pan with enough space to cover a metal rack and the dish. Place the metal rack or small kitchen motor (motor and pestle) inside the pan. Cover the dish with aluminium foil (really tight I use extra aluminium foils and place this dish on top of the motor and fill the pan with hot water till the edge of that motor). And cook this in low heat for 60 minutes to 90 minutes.
Serve hot or cold..:)
