For a Malayali (one from the beautiful state of Kerala, India) this feast is something he/she can't miss. It is so deep rooted into our lives. During the harvest festival, Onam, where ever we are we try to recreate this yummy feast. It is a combination of so many sweet and savoury dishes topped up with Sweet dessert payasam served in a fresh plantain leaf.
